When did I get too kind
When did I let the ghosts come back
Every morning now, like an attack
They’ve purged the peaceful pride I created
When did I get so scared
Why do I fret about how much I care
Every evening, I just want you close, And you tell me you miss me the most But I can’t seem to make the tears stop flowing

If I took you to the woods
You’d never get me back
I’d become the man trapped
All the buildings hold me back
I’d tear into the land
My feet would only touch dirt and sand
And I’d break your heart to let you feel your body
Because a thing can only be fixed once its broken

When did I shy away
When did my blood cease pumping
Every night I feel my brain, keeps looping a useless refrain I’m struggling to find myself some silence

If I took you to the sea
You’d never get me back
The man you seem to see
Would get his sea legs back
I’m as strong as a summer gale
And as quick as a fish tail
The salt would dry my skin white as bone
I would break your heart to wake up your mind
Because once it’s fixed, you leave all this shit behind

When did I lay down to die?
When did I forget what it’s like not to decay
Every year I get a little more bolder
Hopefully it means this coffin won’t get colder. Please stop me from hammering in the next nail

If I took you out in space
You’d never get me back
You’d forget every last trace
We’d circle the planets and back
for once it would blow your mind
What insignificance we have
But give you an appreciation that we came from a galaxy’s plan
And I would mend your heart with love and new believing
Because you’d finally see the things that I’ve been seeing
Because you’d finally know what makes my heart keep beating

Let’s go

Frontiers by John Tibbott and Frickenawesome
Up for the democratic process of voting at threadless, though you can gank the print now at society6. I realize this graph ridiculously, ridiculously, ridiculously, ridiculously, ridiculously, ridiculously *overstates* how much of the Universe we’ve actually explored, but cant we all just admire the implication that the Universe is a really big pie we all live inside? Mmm space pie…

The Big Bang by Deborah Bay

Inspired by a bulletproof plexiglass display with bullets embedded in it, Deborah set out to recreate the fragmented patterns of impact that seem to resemble miniature shattered galaxies on closer examination. Think of the bullet as the black hole at the center, slowly draining the worlds around it.

Calvin: The Spiffy Spaceman by John Sprengelmeyer
Shirts, prints, and cards available at redbubble. Calvin and Hobbes meets Frank Frazetta, all it’s missing is the scantily clad barbarian Martian woman.

Man my sister would love this!

Let’s be honest, Carl Sagan is probably the best human being ever.
